Colorado public bank initiative: Title Board hearing

Beginning at 8 AM tomorrow, Wednesday, April 16th, the Title Board will begin hearings on 55 initiatives, to set the ballot title, or to deny for cause.

We are number 32 on the list. The board will meet until 8 PM and then roll over the remaining items on Thursday, again 8 AM to 8 PM, and again on Friday, if necessary.

Attached is an amended list, in order of consideration. Progress may be monitored live at this website.

The hearings take place at the Secretary of State's offices, 1700 Broadway, in the Aspen Conference Room, on the 3rd floor.

Anyone who wishes to show support for our initiative is welcome to attend.

Also, we'd like to thank everyone who has made tax-deductible contributions to Colorado Public Banking. We are a 501(c)3 under the aegis of Inquiring Systems, Inc., (EIN 94-2524840) which is an umbrella fiscal agent also used by the Public Banking Institute.

As we continue the initiative process, we are still in need of additional operating funds to finish paying for our 501(c)3 start up fees, as well as having funds to pay legal fees. We would also like to create a website, in addition to our blog, where we can share documents and presentations, as well as provide an automated means of fundraising, since our blog is becoming increasingly popular.
